Cascade is made up of a diverse team of more than 100 employees with more than 600 years of experience in institutional asset management, recycling operations, risk management, worker and health safety programs, employee relations, financial accounting, law, government regulations, and electronic disassembly R&D. Together, Cascade’s staff and partners are eager to provide our customers with consistent, quality service.

Neil grew up in Silicon Valley, where he gained technical work experience in IT and supply chain management. Prior to founding Cascade in 1999, he earned his BS and MBA from University of Wisconsin and worked in environmental NGOs and state government. Neil received the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association “Forward Under 40” award, and was recognized in the Hall of Fame of the Electronics Reuse Conference.

TJ Barelmann - VP of Operations

Todd “TJ” Barelmann

VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Todd started at Cascade in 2002. He held an operations management position for several years and became Vice President in 2023. Todd has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, focused on Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and other Operational Management processes. He is a NAID Certified Secure Destruction Specialist.
Colleen Dowe - Marketing & Business Development Manager

Colleen joined Cascade’s Marketing Department in 2022 and was promoted to Marketing & Business Development Manager in 2024. She brings with her marketing, communications, process improvement, and leadership experience, which she has gained throughout her career. Colleen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marian University.

Paul Keough - Resale Manager

Paul began at Cascade in 2010, leading on-site special projects. He then managed the Refurbishing Department before taking charge of the Resale Department in 2013. Since then, he has been a vital leader in advancing Cascade’s resale value growth.
Amy Page - General Manager, Indianapolis

GENERAL MANAGER – INDIANA

Amy has been part of the Cascade Team since 2019. After initially starting as a Field Tech, she was promoted to manager of the department in 2021. Her focus on consistent training, team building, and collaboration well-positioned her for the General Manager role, which she was appointed to in 2024.
Jeremy Penfold - General Manager, Orlando

Jeremy has been with Cascade since 2021. His experience includes 9 years in business and finance management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Fine Art from the University at Buffalo.

Aaron Piotrzkowski - General Manager, Madison

GENERAL MANAGER – WISCONSIN

Aaron joined Cascade in 2007 and held several positions in supervision and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) before his appointment as General Manager in 2023. He has a leading role in continuous improvement activities at our Madison facility.

Jennifer joined the Cascade team in 2021. She has over 22 years of experience in the customer service and sales industry, passionately serving more than 20,000 customers. Jennifer has a degree in Laser and Electro-Optics from Vincennes University.

Rob is a Sr Business Development Executive with over 20 years of professional business experience focusing on developing Enterprise Mobile Disposition & ITAD solutions for regulated industries. Using a consultative approach Rob ‘s experience helps identify customers’ needs, provide solutions, and build mutually beneficial relationships. Rob holds CMAM (Certified Mobile Asset Manager), and CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional) certifications through IAITAM.

Marla began work at Cascade in 2011 and provides customer support, account management, logistics and scheduling assistance. Marla has over 20 years of experience as an advocate for customers and holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

Karen Dietel-Jenks - Quality & Compliance Manager

Karen joined Cascade in 2014 to lead Cascade’s quality programs. She leads the e-Stewards Standards Committee, as well as provides experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Religions at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

Justin coordinated Cascade’s environmental, health, and safety program from 2019-2022. He returned in 2024 after gaining experience in the food and manufacturing industries. Justin possesses a range of certifications including ISO 14001 Lead Auditing, OSHA, Forklift Training, Incident Investigation, and JHA. He earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
